Serial Killer Case: Beat the FBI

We have a new client that is interested in who the killer is in New York Times story for very personal reasons, the death of Olivia Scott. FBI might be involved by the end of the week and they won't have the appreciation for our unique abilities that NYPD does. One of my old Detective friends has slipped me some information and, as I've been constantly told, victims always have something in common. This isn't something I'll be able to pull off in under a week and I think this will be a good case for us; I'll need volunteers and Laurie, who doesn't have the option.

No shit victims have something in common. That's appropriately vague and cryptic. Are we supposed to investigate all the murders since we've been hired to look into one of them?

What sort of information is in the files? Did handy detective friend hand you information we're not supposed to have or will my hopes be crushed and it's only stuff from the client and news sources?

Well, damn.

I'll get on seeing if someone else can give me deliciously unauthorized files to help us out, then.

Damn right you will. And not with ice cream, I am not Laura.
