Ouch

A Stephanie just stormed in here and basically tried to hand me my ass in a sling. I don't think I exactly defused the situation. I admit, my temper sort of got the better of me.

She's a friend of DeShawn James, I think. She didn't exactly give me a lot of details about herself, just stormed into the office, threw down a couple of news articles and demanded I tell her what we were going to do about it.

Wow. She realizes we're not the actual cops and we were only hired to investigate one murder, right? Just because we're looking into all of them doesn't mean we have to or that we owe her anything. People are fucking nuts.

I felt bad for her. I mean, her friend was just murdered but that's no reason to be all angry and bullying with me. I don't know, I guess I'd be looking for someone to attack if any of you were hurt too.

A lot of people jump to the anger stage of grieving and get stuck there for a while longer than people think they ought to. It's just how things go sometimes.
