Bonjour, my friends. There is no easy way to say this, and so I think I will try to keep it very simple. I am leaving tonight and returning to France. I do not know how long I will stay there, but I do not think I will return to New York soon. I have filed the paperwork for a formal leave of absence and I have made sure all of my cases are finished. The paperwork is on your desk, Bishop. My case files and write-ups are on the flash drive on my desk. I will keep my mobile from the school, in case anyone needs to reach me or track me. Everyone at the agency has my alternate contact information. If you should need me, you have only to call.

Merci. Try very hard, my friend, not to maim anyone while I am gone. The husbands, I am sure they deserve it, but it would be best for my piece of mind, knowing I did not need to come back only to break you out of jail. I will keep in touch.

I will do my best but I cannot make any promises. If they catch me with the camera they might think that violence is impressive and I just can't let that go, you know. But I promise to try very hard to not get put in jail. Again.
