I've spent the past week almost 'round the clock trying to figure out who is stalking that 18 yr old who came in all worried and panicked? Her mum. Yeah, that's right, her mum is "stalking" her to get the family heirloom jewelery back that Janie took off with when she ditched home on her 18th birthday. Beautiful.

Mum paid us a reward for getting her the jewelry back, though, so technically it was more profitable than it would have been either. But seriously, that's like a mistress hiring us to find out who her "boyfriend" goes home to at night.

Jesus, now that I've said that some chick is going to come in for that.

You could dirty talk the plants. Apparently they like your voice. There probably is actual work that needs doing but all you're allowed to officially do is loiter and hit on the plants until your visa is through.

No idea, I've never needed to get someone a work visa before. I'll harass them about it tomorrow, see if maybe it got lost in the shuffle or something.

Perky plants benefit the office because it keeps Laurie happy and therefore there's less complaining which keeps me happier. You can dirty talk your boy instead but that doesn't benefit the office.

No. I find cleaning my gun joyful. But the plants might get whipped up into a frenzy of ecstasy from your voice for all we know. It's all about helping others sometimes, kiddo.
